Spanish phrases for feeding your baby
During bottle or mealtime
Mealtimes are full of natural repetition. Every spoonful is another chance to say the same warm phrase, which is why feeding vocabulary sticks faster than almost anything else you'll learn.
The phrases
¿Tienes hambre?
Are you hungry?
Aquí viene la leche.
Here comes the milk.
Rico, ¿verdad?
Yummy, right?
Más despacio, tranquilo.
Slow down, easy.
¿Ya terminaste?
Are you done?
Abre la boca, aquí viene el avión.
Open your mouth, here comes the aeroplane.
Una cucharadita más.
One more little spoonful.
¿Quieres más?
Do you want more?
Mastica bien.
Chew it well.
Se acabó, no hay más.
All gone, there's no more.
Vamos a limpiar esa carita.
Let's clean that little face.
