The changing table is the easiest place to start speaking Spanish with your baby. You're there several times a day, you're face to face, and nobody is judging your grammar. Narrate what you're doing with the same handful of phrases each time, because repetition is exactly what a baby's brain wants.
The phrases
Vamos a cambiar el pañal.
Let's change your diaper.
Aquí vamos, ya casi.
Here we go, almost done.
Levanta las piernas.
Lift your legs.
¡Muy bien! Qué limpio estás.
Well done! You're so clean.
¿Listo? ¡Listo!
Ready? Done!
Uy, alguien necesita un cambio.
Uh oh, someone needs a change.
